Preparation of the Employer Brand Concept for IMI CCI
Challenge
IMI CCI in Brno Šlapanice manufactures custom pressure valves for the oil, petrochemical and energy industries. We met in August 2016 to discuss the possibilities of a long-term employer branding concept. It was unbelievable what amazing things the company stands for – the production plant in Brno Šlapanice produces project-based valves for the end customer, and installations of these valves can be found all over the world. Our task was to raise the company’s profile as an employer in Brno and its catchment area, to support recruitment, especially for CNC operators and adjusters, and to creatively support internal communication with existing employees.
Solution
In order to achieve the set goals, we needed to get to know the company thoroughly. We gradually met with management, production and administration people. This allowed us to get to know the company’s inner workings. Then we focused on comparing it with the competition. We continuously discussed the outputs with people in the project team. This allowed us to get to the heart of the matter. In the creative phase of the project, we designed a personal slogan, fine-tuned the visual style and defined the brand voice. In the communication mix design, we sorted out tools for long-term personal communication. The design also included a design for a new career website, which will be the basis for any further communication.
